Remi Yamamoto is a comic artist based in New York.

She was born in very small, depressing town in Fukuoka, Japan back in 1989 and got stuck there for more than 20 years. Filled with absolute hatred towards her life, after graduating college in 2012, she moved to Tokyo wishing to be someone special. As predicted, it didn’t happen to her. She started living in Brooklyn, New York in 2017 because of job relocation. She decided to be a full time Manga artist (slash hourly-based part time worker) in 2021. It was a hot, steamy summer in New York. Her career as a comic artist started ever since she moved to this wonderful city. Currently looking for editor/publisher to help me getting my book translated from Japanese to English!!

1989年生まれ。福岡の鬱屈とした田舎町で育つ。2012年に就職を機に上京。その後いろいろあって2017年からニューヨークのブルックリンに生活拠点を移し、日本食スーパーで社員として働きながら漫画やイラストを描いて過ごしていたが、2021年の夏に漫画家として独立。ビジネスセンス・知識皆無ですが2022年アメリカで起業しました。2022年12月にKADOKAWA様から初の書籍出版。貧乏暇なし、人生楽しく。漫画・イラスト・文章の仕事、なんでもください。待ってるよ！
